Human Nature (2013)

The studying of stars and their remnants has led scientists to discover that the five most abundant elements in the universe are hydrogen, helium, oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen. Ironically enough the five most abundant elements found on Earth are identical and has a direct correlation to the beginning of carbon-based life forms. Thus, human race shares a very interesting relationship with the Earth, a relationship so common and rudimentary that it nullifies the idea that the human race is significant at all. These photographs are an exploration of the the distant yet immediate relationship that the human race has with Earth in its most basic form.
